Ⅰ. The quality inspection of SMC mould is very important

The quality inspection of SMC mould has a great influence on the moulding process and product quality. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the quality of the material before pressing, such as resin paste formula, resin paste thickening curve, glass fiber content, glass fiber infiltrant type, unit weight, film peelability, hardness and quality uniformity.

The cutting process determines the shape and size of the sheet cutting according to the structure and shape of the SMC mould, the feeding position, and the process, making a model, and then cutting the material according to the model. The cut shape is mostly square or round, and the size is usually 40%-80% of the projected area of the product surface. Ⅱ. Preparatory work before pressing of SMC mould

1. Familiar with the various operating parameters of the press, adjust the working pressure, the operating speed of the press and the parallelism of the table.

2. The SMC mould must be installed horizontally, and the installation position must be in the center of the press table. The mould must be cleaned before pressing and a mould release agent must be applied. Wipe the release agent evenly with clean gauze before feeding, so as not to affect the appearance of the product. For new moulds, oil is required before use.
