1. The ejection method of SMC mould
The ejection system is mainly used to separate the product from the SMC mould when the press is turned on after the product is formed, so as to facilitate the removal of the product. The ejector rod is located in the SMC mould and is driven by some mechanical (or hydraulic) means. These systems include hydraulic systems and mechanical action systems.
There are two types of commonly used hydraulic systems, one is the hydraulic system inside the press, and the other is the hydraulic system that is separately connected to the ejector plate on the mould. Among them, when the oil cylinder is installed on the ejector plate of the SMC mould, the ejection imbalance will often occur. The solution is to connect a gear oil separator. The above two systems are very suitable and have good effects. Each production unit can choose a suitable ejection method according to its actual situation.
2. Heat treatment process of SMC mould
The heat treatment process is a link or the final process of the SMC mould manufacturing process. If the heat treatment process is not handled well, it will cause cracks, serious deformation and large performance differences, resulting in the SMC mould being scrapped. Even if it is repaired, it can still be used, but the man-hours and the delivery period will be lengthened, and the cost of the mould will be increased, as well as the life of the mould will be reduced. There are many kinds of equipment required for SMC mould processing. The production can start from the middle and low-end products and gradually increase to the high-end level, which is a very practical way.
If the product life is expected to be long, the heat treatment technology must be done well, which requires very professional knowledge and skills. The heat treatment technology is closely related to the quality of the mould and is a very important part of the mould treatment process.
